I am a single mom of 4 kids: an 11 year old girl, a 9 year old girl, a 9 year old boy, and a 6 year old boy. Things are fun these days! No more diapers. No more chunky abandoned sippy cups. No more always carrying someone. Yes, things are still messy, but they are still easier. We have made it our family goal to visit all 50 states in the next 10 years or so. We have a map and a package of stars and a state can not have a star until all 5 of us have been there. I love to travel and I want my kids to love it and hopefully to value experiences more than things. There's a little damage to undo in that regard, but we are getting there!
This blog will be about where we've been, where we're going, cheap ways to do it, and whatever advice I can find and offer to make it easier.
